Driving from Pole-to-Pole with an EV and Enel X Way

No one has ever driven from the South to North Pole before, with trecks that take on long stretches of the frozen tundra of Northern Canada, Central America's dense rainforests, and Chile's deserts. So why not make the first drive in an EV? Chris and Julie Ramsey are taking on their last portion of a treck that's stretched from the 1823 Magnetic North Pole down to Antarctica in a modified Nissan Ariya. But driving is just part of the challenge.

The couple worked with Enel X Way in Central and South America to plan and install EV chargers along their route. In addition to Enel X Way's Pan-American Electric Cooridor, other EV owners will be able to utilize the new chargers installed across the continent.
